Joe the Plumber gets it, do you?

Joe Wurzelbacher, “Joe the Plumber,” the guy who called out Obama for being a socialist, was at it again this morning on Good Morning America and Nightline last night.

“To be honest with you, that infuriates me,” plumber Joe Wurzelbacher told Nightline’s Terry Moran. “It’s not right for someone to decide you made too much—that you’ve done too good and now we’re going to take some of it back.”

“That’s just completely wrong,” he added.

Also adding:

“You know, me or — you know, Bill Gates, I don’t care who you are. If you worked for it, if it was your idea, and you implemented it, it’s not right for someone to decide you made too much.”

What is really telling is the way Diane Sawyer asks the question about rich people getting soaked by higher tax rates under Obama (You can watch the video here).  Obama has always called it a matter of fairness, Joe doesn’t think it’s fair that people have to pay a higher percentage simply because they’ve busted their asses and made a lot of money, especially since they already pay most of the taxes in this country.  Sawyer claims Obama simply wants to raise taxes 3 percent on the “rich,” from 36 percent to 39 percent.  But basic math and common sense should make you notice that that is not a 3 percent increase, that’s a 3 percentage points increase.  In reality it is a 8.35 percent increase, but Sawyer has swallowed the hook from the Obama camp.

Here is the video that started it all.

I bet Joe Six-Pack is a little broken hearted at this point. Oddly,it doesn’t appear Joe the Plumber does get it. The average income for a small business owner in the plumbing industry is just over $233,000, while the the average income for a plumber is $55,000. So, “basic math” would put Joe under Obama’s plan of “under $250,000”.

You really are an idiot, aren’t you? So all he has to do is aspire to be average. I’m sure your whole life you’ve been average or below because all you do is aspire, never actually work to accomplish. If you own a small business, something you clearly know nothing about, you are taxed at the individual rate, unless you are a corporation. And it’s INCOME tax, not profit tax. Get a life, get a job, or at least get a clue. And stop waiting around for someone else to do something for you, or do something so the government can take from them and give to you. Stop being a parasite.

Idiot and Parasite, below average, know nothing. hmmm, that is mature. Waiting around is something I take lightly, cause it does not happen. Attacking someone for no life or job, is lame in general, and to state that about one is childish, and I have both, 3 for the latter. As one who has run a small business, and cut the actual checks to the owners, and paid the taxes. I will state, that when you review that those taxes allow you to remain open for business, the key word “open”, the bottom line is what matters. The amount I cited was not profit, it was gross, and was well researched by a family member. Let’s call him “Ray the Plumber”, so I take his word on what the industry earns in profit and individual. To make “Joe…” some sort of heroic conservative, it should be asked why Lucas County courts are seeking nearly $1200 from him as far back as 2007.

You run a small business and write the checks while having 3 jobs? This is a new development.
You have to love it when liberals don’t like what someone says, they attack the messenger. It’s right out of Marx. Missed your post about Charlie Rangel being unpatriotic for not paying his taxes. You’re a mile wide and an inch deep. Enjoy your Kool-Aid.

I’m not buying it. If you had ever put one real day of work in and thus had gained some appreciation for what it is to work for and earn something, you would not be voting for Barack Obama. If you’d worked at one real job where a man’s ability, competence, character, integrity, judgment (and history reflecting said judgment), professionalism, and experience was worth a damn, you would not be voting for Barack Obama.

I can only surmise that there is a very good reason that your experience running a business is a “past” experience. Besides, selling ping pong balls to college kids so that they can play beer pong hardly counts as running a business you stupid fuck.
