Google to spy on you for slightly less length of time.

There is news today out of Europe that the search engine Google has agreed to spy on you for less time than they have in the past, only 9 months instead of 18.  That’s how long they will keep a record of all the things you’ve searched for and clicked on from your computer so they can better tailor advertisements to your history of searches (and God knows what else Sergi Brin has in store for us).  Sweet, isn’t it?  Makes you feel very secure.

Unfortunately Google is the number one search engine on the Interweb, so people don’t seem to mind, if they even know.  Sad to say that we had to Google the new search engine, Cuil, that pledges to keep no records of your searches because we too are addicted to Google.  Maybe Google can find a website with the best way to kick the Google habit…
