It’s a beautiful thing – McCain slaps Obama down HARD!

Barack Obama’s campaign took a swipe at John McCain today in an ad because he didn’t know how many houses his wife owns (the answer is 8, if you care).  How could he not know?  Some are investment properties, others are occupied by family members, including an elderly aunt.  What a jerk, putting up a family member!  Why not take a cue from Obama who lets his brother live in a shack while he makes millions off book sales?

Anyway, the McCain campaign hit back HARD with the below ad that mentions Obama’s good friend and convicted con-man, Tony Rezko, and Obama’s mansion in the Chicago area.

It’s also ironic that the Democrats seem to be attacking McCain for marrying a wealthy woman only 4 short years after nominating John Kerry, who married a billionaire.  We don’t begrudge him that, nor do we question John’s love for his wife.  So why does Obama, who can’t stop complaining about “attacks on his wife” stoop to what he decries?  Because the emperor has no clothes.  Once you get past the platitudes and well-written speeches, there’s not “there” there.  We would ask, as President Reagan once famously did, “Where’s the beef?” but there doesn’t even seem to be a bun, just a nice placesetting.

There are two reasons why Obama has gotten this far. White, leftwing guilt and political correctness. The man brings nothing to the table. I can’t wait for the debates between McCain and Obama, if they aren’t too scripted.
