Douchebag of the Week – Keith Olbermann

Douchebag of the Week!Anyone who doubts the fact that MSNBC, in general, and Keith Olbermann, in particular, are in the tank for Barack Obama is either a Kool-Aid drinker or has the sense to avoid watching the network. That’s why the fact that Olbermann felt the need to compose a “special comment” on Hillary’s pointing out that things happen in electoral politics in June came as no surprise. But the lengths to which Olbermann will go in an attempt to claim a sense of moral superiority and stump for his candidate are a bit surprising.

Olbermann’s douchebaggery has not gone unnoticed by the rest of the media, you can read all about it here, here and here, but a complete lack of credibility doesn’t seem to bother him. Keith just keeps on trucking.

While Keith could win at least honorable mention, if not the award outright, every week, this week was a banner one for him because he’s finally getting the press for his bias and arrogance he deserves. Rather than going through each of his douchey comments individually, we’ll just post the video and let you laugh along.

While watching the video take special note of how he knows which camera is going to be on him each time the shot changes as if he’s worked it out in rehearsal for (what he sees as) dramatic effect.

Keith, rarely have we had a more deserving hack and recipient that personifies on such a regular basis the spirit and name of the award. So, congratulations to you, Keith Olbermann, you are the Douchebag of the Week!

Keith Olbermann is a joke. He named Col. Bud Day the “Worst Person in the World” a couple months ago on his show. The fact is that Col. Day has sacrificed more for our country than someone like Olbermann could ever imagine. Ironically, it’s great men like Bud Day who have fought and sacrificed so that jokers like Olbermann could continue to enjoy the right to free speech. He then uses that freedom to wrongly trash Col. Day. I imagine that Olbermann has no real idea of who Bud Day is, what he has done or what he stands for. If he knows and still chose to name him “The worst,” then he is truly is a tremendous “douchebag.”

Wow. First off, remember how he was so funny on ESPN with Dan Patrick? Ah, the good old days. Now he’s just a piece of filth whose hatred for this country is only surpassed by his love of attention and drama. For a time I thought he was going to challenge Senator Clinton to a fistfight. He was getting pretty scary and serious toward the end, what with all the yelling and chastising of a U.S. Senator. I am a Republican and personally have very little use for the Clintons, but I would rather spend all day with them alone in a disabled elevator than have to endure listening to his babbling, half-truths, lies, propaganda, etc. Olbermann is on par with Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Moore, Hanoi Jane Fonda, Michelle Obama, and so many others that hate this nation and its principles. Look, the right wing has just as many blowhards (Rush Limbaugh’s pompous arrogance is the worst friend the Republicans have.) But no matter how much Limbaugh, Robertson, or any other right wing spokesperson talks, I never find myself questioning their patriotism and whether or not they love this country or would be just as happy with us living in a socialist society under the rule of North Korea or some Muslim extremist nation. Sadly, I cannot say the same for Olbermann, et al. It’s hard to listen to the hatred spewed forth by these people, but thank God we live in a country where there is the freedom to do so, whether Olbermann ever lets the facts get in the way of a good argument or not. Glad to see you finally lost your job covering the election. Maybe that should tell you something, ya hack.

I just watched the first three minutes of his Hillary rant and could not take it anymore. This guy is in desperate need of Xanax. Man, he is just comes unglued over the slightest things.

How, in the name of all that is Holy, is he even still on the air? What a freak show. Imagine going through life that angry all the time?

Oh yea, Barney Frank does is everyday – admitting on 60 minutes that he is anti-social. Some people thrive on negative energy and it seems old KO has plenty of it to spare. How sad..

I just don’t understand his appeal. Nor will I ever..

Really because how many times did stupid Keith Olbermann make reference to Senator McCain knocking on deaths doorstep? Or have people on his show giving John McCain death statistics? The left used the fact that John McCain is older to scare people into not voting for him. I mean why would we vote for a guy who has an 83% chance of dying in the next 3 years right? What a hypocrite, I can’t believe I just wasted 10 minutes and 42 seconds of my life watching that hack, who are the people that watch him nightly? That’s my two cents.

This guy needs to be put down. Why is he still on the air?? even today? why? his hatred is so obvious and so strong, and a corporation spouting that publicly should be ashamed. Oh wait, it’s not just any corporation – it’s a corporation in bed with the Administration. If any lefties thought FNC was in bed with Bush, which is not true, but even if it was it – doesn’t nearly come as close to this douchebag’s bedside manner with the Obama administration – this is pure hatred, hatred at its worst.

I just found this and I know that I am a little late but Keith Olbermann is still a douche bag.
It is amazing to me he was a better sportscaster than a political sack sniffer but he was a terrible sportscaster so why would MSNBC think this hack would do well on TV? Does he really beilieve this puke he spews or is he just trying to impress the leftist teacher he could not score with in college, get over it Keith the guy was married

Found the page via a “olbermann is a douche” google. Curious how many hits I’d get. Kind of a waste of a posting. You may as well post a “horse diarrhea” gets the “Horse Excrement of the Week” award. Olbermann earns the award 5 nights a week.

Olberman personifies the mainstream media – completely devoid of impartial thought or – gasp -logic. He should really sign on as a mouthpiece for the DNC. How he stays on air is a marvel of modern journalism (as if such a thing really exists nowdays.) Oh yea – I’m a freaking Independent and can’t stand his unmitigated bias.
