Thank Al Gore and his global warming zealots for high food prices: the ethanol scam.

E 85 is a scam.

The story in today’s Boston Globe is something every left-wing fanatic, true believer in the Church of Global Warming should be happy about; food prices are skyrocketing.  What’s the tie between Pope Goreus the VI and high food prices?  It’s the massive amount of edible goods that are being shipped away from the market for human and animal consumption to the gas pump, and the fact that ethanol is a complete scam

Don’t look to Gore and his faithful to admit these truths, that’s not their game, their game is to continue to get filthy rich while living the lifestyle they seek to deny everyone else.

    Readjust your tinfoil hat, dittohead.

The reason why food prices are soaring is because of increasing demand from Asia, as well as the spike in oil prices (both from a fuel, as well as pesticides/fertilizers)

The population from Asia is not growing at such a rate as to explain this increase, thank you very much. Congress has MANDATED a massive increase in ethanol production over the next 10 years. Ethanol is made from the food we give livestock. That food has increased substantially in cost over the last couple of years. Simply economics should tell you that everything that does not go into ethanol will be more expensive because there will be less of it. If logic doesn’t work, try Google.

And our hats are aluminum, not tin.

Also, Snerdly how much petroleum products are used in the fertilizer and tractors to grow all of that “energy saving corn”. I would suggest you read this article that was in the Smithsonian magazine last Fall. It might help you see the light…
