Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…

Senator Obama’s campaign has a new mascot.

As we told you yesterday, Barack Obama has been accused of plagerism by the Clinton campaign.  While we didn’t find that example particularly egregious, it turns out that Barack Obama has “borrowed” language from before.  Can you spot the similarities here?

Obama quoted in USA Today in 2007: “I am not asking anyone to take a chance on me. I am asking you to take a chance on your own aspirations.”

Deval Patrick at the 2006 Massachusetts Democratic convention, “I am not asking anybody to take a chance on me. I am asking you to take a chance on your own aspirations.”

Spot the similarities, or was that a little too subtle?
