The gloves are coming off in the Democratic race!

They were still wearing gloves here, but they soon came off.

Two posts on Huffington Post are catching our eye today, and they have to do with two of the issues that are tearing the Democratic party apart, race and super-delegates.First, a woman named Keli Goff (we’ve never heard of her either, which is typical of the “experts” at that rag) writes about the race of Senator Clinton’s new campaign manager, as if it matters.  She, obviously, has a different take on her qualities as a good person than we do

Second, Lanny Davis, Clinton hack from way back, writes about the super-delegate system and argues they should be able to vote for whomever they want, no matter what the actual vote total is by the time of the convention because that’s what they were designed to do.  Once you get done laughing at the fact that a liberal is calling for original intent for the super-delegates, Davis makes a compelling argument.

But neither of the posts are where the battle is taking place, it’s the comment sections.

It’s interesting to see the battle breaking down between Clinton and Obama supporters and the lengths to which both sides will go to win.  This does not bode well for the Democrats in the fall, and finally exposes the undercurrent of racism that has existed in the Democratic party for decades.

How it all plays out will be interesting to watch, and could be very expensive for the Left.
