Happy “Friendship” Day

Congrautions, you're a loser!Congratulations, you're a loser!Congratulations, you're a loser!Congratulations, you're a loser!Congratulations, you're a loser!

Michael Graham takes note of a growing trend to not let kids become aware of the fact that some people are simply more popular than others.

It’s this Liberal logic that gave us sports without winners and participation ribbons.

Oh, and happy Valentine’s Day.

I’ve actually seen this happen first hand while employed in a school district in Illinois. The social workers would get together and organize such an event as “friendship Day”. As the kids would file into the lunch room they were handed a colored card and then would have to sit at the corresponding table, forcing them to sit with other children they may not have thought to sit with otherwise. They were forbidden to exchange cards with others, one child who tried was actually sent into the “naughty” room to eat alone. Not quite sure I get the point they are trying to get across to these kids, it seemed to have no impact on the kids whatsoever. Go figure.

It’s all PC, feel good, leftwing crap. Yet these people never seem to be happy with life.
