Typical Clinton attack plan – Have someone else do it, then say you’re sorry once it’s out there.

As we told you yesterday, former Senator Bob Kerrey was spreading the rumors and lies about Barack Obama that have been circulating on the Internet for months, rumors that have been debunked a long time ago.  But they’re too good to let go of, they could scare people, so a desperate Clinton campaign needs to keep them alive without doing so directly.  Enter Bob Kerrey.

Now that word has spread about the lies, the time for the apology is upon us.  But, in typical political fashion, the apology is not really an apology.

“What I found myself getting into in Iowa – and it was my own fault – it was the wrong moment to do it and it was insulting,” Kerrey told the AP. “I meant no disrespect at all.”

Translation:

The story is out there once again and will hopefully sink into the minds of some voters, making them vote for Hillary.  I can’t say this was planned by the campaign because Hillary is all positive, roses and sunshine, so it was my fault alone.  I won’t be fired like the guy who pointed out that Obama had used drugs in his life, I’m too valuable. And I totally meant disrespect by it.

What does he mean by “it was the wrong moment to do it”?  Is there a right moment to slander someone?

And those apologies that say “Sorry you were offended” are not really apologies.  Think about it.

This is typical Clinton, both of them.
