If Obama wants to put a Republican in his cabinet, why not pick a real one?

Barack Obama has said repeatedly that he would reach out to Republicans if he were elected President, seems he’s a uniter, not a divider.  Recently, while opining about who would serve in his administration, Obama started name-dropping potential cabinet members and the Republican he mentioned was anything but a Republican.

Arnold Schwartzenegger, governor of California, was the Republican he mentioned.  If this is reaching out to Republicans, Obama must have very short arms!

Schwartzenegger is about as Republican as Hillary.

Obama will have to do better than that if he’s expected to be taken seriously as someone who can bridge the political divide.
