Josef Stalin was responsible for more than 50 million deaths, but there was a good reason for his madness, if new government approved history books in Russia are to be believed.
Of his actions, the new official line is that there were “rational reasons behind the use of violence in order to ensure maximum efficiency.”
Yeah, like they may have had original thoughts and not agreed with the communists. How long till text books here adopt this line?
