More information is coming out on Obama's Blogojevich contacts In spite of what the Obama team has told us, the contacts than had with Blagojevich ran deep. The most troubling thing is Obama wanted to maintain a close relationship with Blagojevich even after he was under suspicion. New information has been uncovered through the Freedom of Information act.

Unlike liberals, we aren’t flying monkeys looking to “prominent” people for our marching orders, we think for ourselves. By your logic, since you want to give McCain, a Republican, not a conservative, credibility on this issue, he therefore has credibility on everything. The war, Social Security, etc, right? You going to follow him on those? We’re betting no. We didn’t accuse Obama of a crime, we accused him of lying. The record clearly shows he lied, therefore he’s not the “change” agent he pretended to be, he’s a typical politician. What’s worse, he’s one that came out of the corrupt Chicago machine.

Obama’s Blagojevich story is crumbling.
Obama insisted that none of his staff had a part in the attempted selling of his Senate seat by Gov. Blagojevich. “I have never spoken with the governor on this subject. I am confident that no representative of mine would have any part in any deals related to this seat,” Obama said. It appears that Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, has been talking to Blagojevich. The details of those discussions are not yet known.

This just in….it has been discovered that somewhere deep in the SouthWest United States, at a top secret government facility named “Area 51″, the United States government has been hiding alien corpses, and testing their remains and DNA structure.

They have also recovered the wreckage of their space craft, that looks like a frisbee wrapped in tin foil…

it is believed the craft was flying somewhere off the coast of Northern California in the 1970’s when it collided with another smaller aircraft piloted by whom resources say is Amelia Earhardt. Her plane plunged to the water and she was eaten by a giant prehistoric beast only known as “Nessie.” It has not been explained how the create got from the Great Loch Ness to the coast of California…perhaps a pirate ship captained by long rumored pirate Captain Jack Sparrow…

I’m sure you were a level headed about all the wild speculation about President Bush, too, right? Innocent until proven guilty…unless there are political points to be scored. The evidence here is their own words, before it became an issue, common sense (he’d be neglectful in his duty if he didn’t talk about who would replace him with the man that got to pick it) and the story above. No one here is guilty of anything…yet. But it sure doesn’t look good.

Facts are more important than speculation at this point. First, Alexrod is not Obama. Two different people there . . . The media has condemned Blagojevich from seemingly harsh evidence against him. Remember, he is innocent until proven guilty. (I’m not siding with him, I just think that American justice should be worked out to the furthest extent.) This is an opinion you are entitled to hold, but are you sure your evidence is unbiased? That is important before affirming an opinion.

If you would take a few minutes you may realize, spending time reading opposing positions gives a little insight. As the folks here at First Friday stated, it is not clear that what ABC reported actually ever took place, and my open question was if it did, would it not be on tape? Since wiretapping began on or around Halloween. Elizabeth, you and I could agree, Politics is a contact/gotcha sport, but the country as a whole is not in a position for that game at the moment, and should we proceed down that path we get little work done, work that needs to be done. Also, I am sure most readers here would agree, you may save time if you deducted the name calling to one sentence, like if I am the dumbass…you must be the smartass…

Many arguments here are valid, and others show a lack of information. Hannity talking points do not count. To say that Obama and Blagojevich spoke of the issue is a fine argument, although, if according to Fitzgerald’s press conference Obama is not involved, or being looked into. Also, if the wiretapping on Blago began just prior to Oct 31, wouldn’t the conversation be on tape? Keep in mind, we have spent 8 years assuming the worst for obvious reasons, but as a President, Obama has no record. Reports also indicate that it was Obama’s state Senate bill on ethics that is what actually brought down the corrupt Gov., and it was Rahm Emmanuel who made the info available to Fitzgerald. Speculating on this is tedious, and the right-wingers who wish to bring Obama down now, prior to any evidence being brought forward is lazy, and vindictive.

The idiot governor of Illinois was caught by the FBI saying that the Obama camp wasn’t going to give him anything but thanks for putting a good person into the Senate seat. That should be enough to let you know Obama wasn’t involved.

It doesn’t matter whether they were scheduled to meet or not. The schedule could easily have been broken by either party. Can’t believe I’m defending Obama since I voted for McCain, but now matter who had won, the other side would be posturing for the next election. Despite the fact that Obama hasn’t even been sworn in yet.
