As if passing a bill that initially bailed out Fannie and Freddie while imposing taxes on them to give taxpayer money to uber-left-wing groups like ACORN and La Raza wasn’t bad enough, the Democrats were back at it again last night. The “deal” they struck with themselves (since it was a deal between 6 or so Members) would have given 20 percent of any profits taxpayers may see from this deal to those groups through the Housing Trust Fund. This is why the deal fell apart, as it should have.
Where was the reporting on this? Certainly not in the mainstream media. Thankfully the Web had it.

I never really looked at Obama as a Nero but I certainly see the comparisons.
