Day one of the RNC might go down as the slowest day in convention history.  John McCain and the Republican Party hope to change that on Day 2 when they role out an altered, but nearly full program that includes President Bush, Senator Fred Thompson and Senator Joe Lieberman.

This afternoon I was able to speak with John Rich, half of the country music duo Big & Rich, about his support for John McCain.  Rich penned and recorded the song Rasin’ McCain which has become the unofficial campaign song of John McCain’s 2008 race to the White House.  (You can check out the song and download it for free at www.johnrich.com).  Stay tuned for our next podcast for an interview with John Rich and why he is supporting Senator McCain.
