In England people may soon get paid to live a healthy lifestyle.

Manchester United ru..cough, cough,…rules!Obesity isn’t just a problem in the US, it’s a problem everywhere, except television.  England is exploring ways to curb it.

The only problem you run into when big government nations attempt to solve problems is their answer is always big government, which never seems able to solve any problem.

Rather than, say, allow people to deduct the cost of a gym membership from their taxes or simply stopping the politically correct practice of telling everyone that they’re beautiful no matter what they look like and re-placing a social stigma on obesity, they’re considering simply paying people who lose weight and eat healthily

When that doesn’t work, they will be rounded up and shipped off to camps where gruel is fed to them twice a day and they are worked skinny all while being told they had their chance to choose to live a healthy lifestyle on their own…

Just kidding…they won’t be told that while being worked to death.

Does being a couple hundred pounds overweight really sneak up on anyone?  And does it really shock anyone to find out that’s not a healthy way to live?  Yet people still get fat and sit in front of the TV for 8 hours a day.  It’s their fault!  Rewarding them for being stupid is as stupid as being surprised by poor effects of it in the first place!  The reward is not having a stroke!  The reward is not breaking into a sweat and needing to stop while walking up a slight incline on the street.  The reward is not dropping dead!  It shouldn’t be a check!

Welcome to socialized medicine, where everyone and the state has an interest in how you live your life.

That is not even funny that poor little puppy got turned into that obese thing. It is so sad, its scary. You are absolutely right. Dog obesity is a problem everywhere and we need to stop dog obesity. Dogs could get hurt trying to support their bodies if they are obese. To all of you people out there with obese dogs, if you don’t want your dog to get hurt while trying to walk, get it on a diet. Some owners say that their dogs just got like that on their own, no they didn’t. It is the owner’s fault for feeding them too much. I have two dogs and neither are obese.
