Here are the latest upcoming events that we know of.  Check them out.

Tomorrow night the attractive ladies pictured below are hosting a fund-raising party for our troops. The Yellow Ribbons, as seen below, are hosting an event at the City Tavern Club to raise money for one of the best causes out there, so you should make every effort to attend.

A little further down the road:

On October 17th at 7:30 the DC Improv will host The Funniest Celebrity in Washington Contest featuring performances by Senator Arlen Specter, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, former First Friday special guest Grover Norquist, Patrick Gavin from the Examiner and many others.  Who is the funniest?  Go to the show and find out for yourself.

Also on the 17th, Republicans Helping Republicans is having a happy hour where you can hang with some like-minded friends as well as three Members of Congress: REP. ED ROYCE (R-CA), REP. JOHN BOOZMAN (R-AR) and REP. KAY GRANGER (R-TX).  The event takes place at Top of the Hill from 6:30-8:30.  More information can be found here.

The DC Young Republicansare hosting a happy hour on October 23rd from 6:30-8:00 at Bullfeathers. It’s not yet posted on their website, but information on the group can be found here.

On Saturday, November 3, the following the next First Friday, there is a good charity event happening at Tabaq Bistro hosted by District Trust Charities.  They’re having a Rio Night, with all sorts of options, including a VIP package.  The cash goes to the Children’s National Medical Center, so you can drink to get that false sense of good feeling AND actually feel good about yourself.  The details can be found here.
