Paris Hilton is a myth, too. Global Warming post 1

Al Gore summers in the Artic

Al Gore is at it again, not that he ever stops.  He’s traveling the world (in what we imagine is a row boat or solar power air plane, otherwise we hope he’s buying plenty of carbon offsets to make up for his globe trotting) to promote his “Live Earth” concert series expected to raise awareness of the myth that is man made global warming and create piles of garbage and pollution associated with people traveling great distances to be somewhere.

The irony of this “preaching to the choir” concert series seems lost on Gore.

While in Istanbul Mr. Gore lamented the fact that Paris Hilton gets more press than he and his religion do.  The reason being, as dumb as Paris is, she’s real; global warming is not.

That won’t stop any and everyone from blaming everything under the sun on man made global warming (why isn’t it called person made global warming?  Where are the feminists on this one?  They probably don’t want gender neutrality on this one, but that’s for another day.)

The United Nations, perhaps the only entity on earth more useless than Paris Hilton, has weighed in on the this crisis (global warming, not Paris in jail).  UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is attempting to meld two celebrity laden issues together to create a “super issue” that the world can rally around by giving America haters a two-for; The US is causing global warming, and global warming is causing genocide.

Yes, that’s right, Ban is claiming that global warming is responsible for the slaughter in Darfur.  The logic is simple, though twisted: global warming causes drought, drought causes fighting, global warming causes fighting.

“The Darfur conflict began as an ecological crisis, arising at least in part from climate change.”

Yes, Africa was Utopia until the West started building machines!  Shut down the machines!  Forget the fact that there are historical cultural and ethnic differences that people have been warring over since the beginning of time, it’s global warming’s fault!  Pay attention!  Buy a Prius!  (I wonder how many of these people own stock in Honda and make a buck of the sales of the Prius?)

The biggest threat to the world is blow-hards like these two speaking without understanding or caring about the consequences of their proposed solutions.

One way to reduce CO2 is for you and AlGore to stop talking. Global warming is dead.

If Gore and all the rest of the enthusiastic Global Warming crowd would cease respiring CO2 all would be well.

Global Warming isn’t dead–It Was Never Alive! Can you say, “It’s the Sun, Stupid!”
And, BTW, the Prius is a Toyota, not a Honda.

I’m always amazed how the left ignores facts to make a usless case, and then you have the intelligent and mature side of the arguement.

well to be honest: i am a huge fan of paris hilton but she really is stupid, but who cares? everybody on the internet is looking for her pictures and her videos. maybe thats enough and she is so clever to make a lot of money from doing … basicly: nothing. al gore is much more clever but doesn’t get that much attention. the world is crazy!

This writer is a gas bag. It’s a lot easier to criticize than to offer solutions to complex problems. Adios
